Dr. Robin Garland Bandura, PT
Dr. Robin Garland Bandura, DPT, PT owner of OnPointe Physical Therapy in Philadelphia, PA has more than 20 years of orthopedic preventative, post-operative and rehabilitative experience. In her physical therapy practice she treats a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries in a diverse patient population including professional athletes, Division 1 college athletes, professional dancers and circus artists. She is a Certified Graston Technique Provider and Certified Pilates Mat Technique Instructor and has more than 4 decades of dance training. Dr. Bandura continues her study of orthopedic and dance medicine at the Harkness Center for Dance Injuries (NYC), is a member of the International Association of Dance Medicine and Science, and the Orthopedic and Sports sections of the American Physical Therapy Association, and has received a Certified Hip Specialist designation from NYC Hospital for Special Surgery. She has served as the on-site physical therapist for Broadway musical touring productions including Book of Mormon, Flashdance, Cinderella, Evita, and Pippin; for the film, Limitless; and has worked with dancers of Pennsylvania Ballet, Ballet X, Philadanco, Koresh, and Limon Dance Company, Alvin Ailey II, and as team physical therapist for the Anderson Monarchs youth soccer, basketball and baseball programs.
